Physiotherapy in Nuremberg

Physiotherapy Exercise Treatment – one-to-one, with a plan you understand

Whether it is back pain, the time after an operation or a sports injury: at FLOW you get physiotherapy exercise treatment one-to-one – with a doctor’s prescription or as a self-payer without going through a doctor first.

For everyone who wants more than 20 minutes on a conveyor belt

Physiotherapy exercise treatment as it should be

Many people know physiotherapy as a quick session squeezed in between two appointments. With us it is one-to-one care: we combine passive mobilisation with active, targeted training – so that you do not just feel short-term relief but work specifically towards coping with everyday demands again.

  • You want to understand why you are doing which exercise – not just be handed a sheet of paper.
  • You want a plan that fits your everyday life, not a one-size-fits-all routine.
  • You want to know where you stand – regarding both the process and the costs.

Why patients come to us

Physiotherapy exercise treatment is the broadest of our treatments. These are the complaints we see most often:

Back and spine

Back pain in the lumbar and thoracic spine, lumbago, sciatica, lumbar spine syndrome, complaints after a slipped disc.

Joints and after operations

Knee pain, after knee or hip replacement, after meniscus or cruciate ligament injuries, after an operation or accident.

Shoulder, neck and arms

Shoulder pain, impingement, frozen shoulder, neck tension, tennis and golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel complaints.

Foot and ankle

Heel spur, Achilles tendon complaints, ankle injuries, foot pain and strains.

Also possible without a prescription

Direct access: you do not need a prescription

As we hold a sectoral Heilpraktiker licence for physiotherapy, we may also treat you without a doctor’s prescription. That means no detour via a doctor’s surgery and no waiting for a prescription when you have acute complaints or want to do something preventive.

  • Treatment possible without a doctor’s prescription
  • We tell self-payers the costs before the first appointment
  • With a prescription we bill your health insurance as usual

For active people

Return to Sport and Return to Work

After an injury you want to get back to your sport or your job – not by gut feeling, but step by step and in a way you can rely on. That is exactly what our work is geared towards.

  • Gradual build-up of mobility, strength and capacity
  • Movement analysis: your movement patterns show us what needs work
  • Typical reasons: torn muscle fibre, strain, torn ligament, complaints after cruciate ligament or meniscus injuries

Frequently asked questions

Can I get an appointment without a prescription?

Yes. As we hold a sectoral Heilpraktiker licence for physiotherapy, we may also treat you without a doctor’s prescription – as a self-payer.

Will my health insurance cover the costs?

With a doctor’s prescription we bill your statutory or private health insurance. With statutory insurance, the usual statutory co-payment applies. Without a prescription, our self-payer rate applies, which we tell you in advance.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

A large towel or bed sheet, your valid prescription if you have one, and relevant medical reports. Comfortable clothing is helpful.
